Great job Jag for finding this, and we also extend our thanks to our colleagues at the Corvette Action Center for this information! Much appreciated.

We know have confirmation of earlier suggestions that there will be 12, 2019 C7 colors.

The two new 2019 colors ones are: Dark Shadow Metallic (P/C # GJI), though that is its GM internal name; we will soon learn what it is called as a Corvette color.

The second new 2019 color is called Rhythm & Blue Metallic (P/C # GS7), again GM’s internal name for it.

The remaining 10 colors for 2018 continue. A quick translation for internal vs. external color names for the non-obvious ones:

High Voltage Orange is Sebring Orange;
Limited Addictiion Red is Long Beach Red;
Son Of A Gun Gray is Watkins Glen Gray Metallic;
Opulent Blue is Adrenaline Blue;
Switchblade Silver is Blade Silver.

And now we await for the November 20th release of the full Order Guide including the additional/new material on the ZR1. However, as the 12 colors are the announced max capability for the new paint shop, sorry for those ZR1 purchasers who were hoping for it to have a unique color.

A quick review of the many lines of information above, shows no substantive 2019 changes other than the two new colors, with one possible exception, the listing of "Medium Ash Gray" as a new interior color.. However, November 20th please come soon so we can learn more about the ZR1.

Not a silly question. Some Corvette colors are shared with other GM cars. For example, Opulent Blue is the paint name for a blue that was used previously by Cadillac. The Corvette Team determines the names for Corvette colors based on what they think sounds best for the Corvette specifically.

Here are the full 12 colors for 2019:

G1E – Long Beach Red (Limited Addiction Red)
G26 – Sebring Orange (High Voltage)
G7Q – Watkins Glen Gray (Son of a Gun Gray)
G8G – Arctic White
G9F – Ceramic Matrix Gray (Genesis Metallic)
GAN – Blade Silver (Switchblade Silver)
GBA – Black
GC6 – Corvette Racing Yellow (Yell-O)
GKZ – Torch Red
GTR – Admiral Blue (Opulent Blue)

The new exterior colors are:

GJI – Dark Shadow Metallic (626D)
GS7 – Rhythm & Blue Metallic (625D)

Wow, the ZR1’s door mirrors have built in turn signal indicators. I never noticed that before, nor saw it commented on. Thank you Keith at CorvetteBlogger for pointing that out. As he asked today, might that be a feature that is rolled out to all 2019’s?

Maybe because Halloween was so recent, but is anyone else thinking of this colored car as a pumpkin?

Are the mirror blinkers required in the UAE? If not, then we will see them here in the US. If they are, it's still in the air.
